Programs for Long-term Transferees relocating to Japan
These services are designed for assignees with a planned stay in Japan of over one (1) year.

      • Look-see/Survey Trip Program
        A 1-day or 2-day program to introduce the assignee to the host country in order to give a clear picture of what kind of lifestyle to expect upon relocation.
  • Home Search Program
    A comprehensive program to assist the assignee in finding appropriate housing in accordance with company policies and individual needs. This service begins with an orientation on the host country, expected lifestyle, and overall relocation flow.
  • Settle-in Program
    Designed to acclimate the assignee to the host environment after relocation, in order to live in Japan independently and with confidence.
  • Home Search and Settle-in Combined Program
    Provides the assignee with seamless support to ensure a smooth relocation, from consultation on relocation details to setting up the household and beginning a daily routine.
  • Ongoing Helpline and TGA eSource
    Having access to our ongoing Daily Helpline and exclusive web site, TGA eSource, will ensure professional support for any inquiry as well as free up human resource personnel and co-workers from having to cope with the employee’s personal issues during work hours.
  • Emergency Helpline
    Expert consultation and assistance to assignees off-site or on-site in the event of an emergency.
  • Local Move Program
    Home search and various administrative support includes closing out the previous residence, home search, setting up the new residence, and required official procedures.
  • Departure Program
    Assignees can go on to their next destination without worry when all their affairs are wrapped up in Japan. TGA can also negotiate property matters to maximize return for the company.

These same or adjusted programs can be provided to transferees who are assigned to either major urban areas or outlying areas. TGA knows and understands the different requirements that each assignment brings, and we adapt our service to accommodate those needs.


Programs for Short-term Assignees relocating to Japan
No matter how short or long the assignment is, finding suitable accommodation that is most convenient and cost effective in order to fulfill the mission of the assignment in Japan are in the best interest of the company as well as of the assignee. The following services are designed for those persons coming to Japan.

  • Accommodation Set-Up & Settling-In Program
    Designed to assist the assignee in finding temporary accommodation and identifying the “must-dos” depending on length of stay and expected work style.
  • Lease Management and Departure Assistance
    Administrative issues for housing are covered, including management of lease agreement documentation and negotiation; service concludes with support in closing out the assignee's affairs in Japan.


Programs for Locally Hired Foreign Resident Employees
Because TGA knows how companies are operated in Japan and how local employees are treated under local fringe benefit plans, the programs that we offer for locally hired foreign resident employees are targeted to make them self-supportive. Our programs cover the most basic and important aspects that foreign employees need to know and abide with while under the employing company's benefits package.

  • Home Search Program
    To provide consultation to the employee on how to cope with the Japanese real estate market and lease formalities in Japan in order to become self-supportive. We also explain, monitor and supervise the overall process in order to protect the assignee and company from potential problems later on.
  • Settle-in Program
    Assists the assignee with basic responsibilities as a resident of Japan as well as adjustment to a new culture.
